Hi, I’m Natasha.
Hi, I’m a counsellor from Fife, and I believe counselling should feel like a safe, comfortable space where you can come exactly as you are.
I know that taking the first step towards counselling can feel daunting, so I want my space to feel warm, welcoming and relaxed. There’s no judgement, no pressure and no expectation to have everything figured out. We can simply take things one step at a time, at your own pace.
When I’m not counselling, you’ll usually find me out enjoying a walk, getting some fresh air, or at home looking after my rabbits and guinea pigs!
I’m proud to offer an LGBTQ+ inclusive and affirming space, where you can feel accepted, respected and free to be yourself. Whoever you are and whatever you’re going through, you’re welcome here.
My Approach
As a pluralistic counsellor, I’ll work alongside you to understand what you need from counselling and what feels most helpful for you. We can draw on different ideas, approaches and techniques depending on what feels right for you, rather than following one set way of working.
You are the expert in your own life, and we’ll work together to find ways of supporting you that feel comfortable, meaningful and useful. Your needs, preferences and goals are at the heart of our work together.
What does this mean for you as ‘ the client’?
Your sessions will be a collaborative effort between the both of us. We will be working together as a team.
We’ll talk about what you would like from counselling and what feels helpful for you. Sometimes that might mean simply having space to talk and be listened to. At other times, you might want to explore different ideas, try a technique, set some goals or look at things from a different perspective.
You’re always able to let me know what is and isn’t working for you. We can adjust our sessions as we go, so that counselling feels personal to you, collaborative and at a pace that feels comfortable.
Ultimately, it’s about finding what works for you.
